I agree 100% with this YouTube comment I saw about you
@mehdirhasan: "Mehdi is so sharp. He does his homework thoroughly & remembers it, so that the instant the interviewee lies, he then keys in on his notes & does a 'body-slam' on the opponent. Best interviewer I've ever seen." -
Thanks Tarek :-)

So as far as the transcripts go, they only record some of the words?
I hope @RepSwalwell and@tedlieu watch this too. Thank you for this Mehdi

Apparently he thinks so...here's a follow-up question from an audience member. Mind-blowing...https://youtu.be/KOB4V-ukpBI?t=2519 …

@AdamSchiff@jahimes@ConawayTX11@RepRooney@RepSwalwell Since you guys were all there, can you confirm that the transcript released to the public was incomplete? -
He's essentially saying that Congress is withholding the full testimony from the public. I don't think Congress would do that since they work for *us*. Would love confirmation from at least one of you that Congress is not withholding testimony from this hearing.

As the young lady in the audience pointed out, Prince categorically denied any meeting with the Trump campaign. There’s not a missing bit where he came clean. Just don’t effing tell me 47 months

That little smile at 1:20 when he regains control and begins to make up a fairy tale...priceless.

I saw a TED talk today about lying and he displayed all of them. Shaking his head, stiff upper body, and that little smile you mention. I think they called it the "dubious smile," like they're getting away with something
-
If you were going to lie as prolifically as these people, you’d at least look into the basic tells. So lazy.

I went to an elite Prep School in New England for high school and a college with frats after. I recognize that smirk. It is the smirk of privilege. It just a smirk of those in power getting what they want by dubious means.
-
Yup. I abhor it.
