After making monetised videos of their adopted Autistic son for years, a YouTube couple have “rehomed” him. They say the viewers didn’t see 99% of their struggle and his “new mommy” has special medical training for little Huxley’s needs.https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/stephaniemcneal/myka-stauffer-huxley-announcement …

They originally didn't want a special needs child but "God softened their hearts" to the idea. I wonder who re-hardened those hearts to the idea. Was it God that told them it was okay to abandon this child, or garden-variety selfish lazy deluded human beings?

I have an adopted, autistic child. I can't find the words to describe how this makes me feel.

The way they say “he’s found his forever home” too - they talk about him like he’s a dog.

So if one of their biological kids was born with autism, would they take them back to the hospital and say we tried, so can we just get another?

“Re-home” = We aren’t fit enough to raise this kid and just used him for the views.
