I checked out on the season emotionally weeks ago when they lost to the Magic at home. It was the breaking point for me.
It could have and probably should have been so much more.
Zion dunking pregame didn’t help.

This was a lot more than a game to me tonight. I am LIVID. At the refs. At Zion. I haven’t felt like myself either, I haven’t for the past month. But I still show up to work and fake it. For a teacher salary. I am very disappointed tonight. Not mad, VERY disappointed.
The Pelicans lost the game by 5.
The Pelicans lost the third quarter by 15.
The Thunder played 48 minutes without a center.
Jonas Valanciunas went for 16 & 18 on 9 shots.

We didn’t make the playoffs. Didn’t get a pick swap with the Lakers. Zion played 29 games and yet again played no postseason minutes. Zion and BI played like what, 7 games together? This season was a gotdamn failure.

Even after last night, we just sat in class in silence so I could order my play-in tickets ❤️💙 (try getting 24 7 year olds to be quiet… it’s not easy, they knew how much it meant to get them 🤣)
