Now I'm confused as to what goes into your chili

Beef, maybe tri-tip, as many dried chili peppers as I have on hand, maybe some regular peppers like jalapeño and Anaheim’s, onion, garlic, spices. Maybe some whiskey, cigar ash, or dark chocolate for something weird. And that’s about it.
