It kills them through starvation/dehydration while food/water is abundant, preventable disease when healthcare is available, exposure when there’s housing available. Hoarding. And that’s not even including the many millions that have died to protect the interests of capitalists.

Again when has capitalism been responsible for this? Why would it do that? People are customers! North Korea, Zimbabwe, Venezuela and Ethiopia are countries where people are dying now from starvation. What Capitalist country is the same or worse happening?

When? Every day. Why? Because the rich protect their own power, of course! How are you supposed to control people if they don’t depend on you to survive? And Zimbabwe, Venezuela and Ethiopia are ALL capitalist countries. How many people are dying of starvation in NK anyway?

How us Zimbabwe a capitalist country? It is run by a Marxist party. Venezuela is run by a socialist party and is such a paradise that more than 10% of its population has fled. Someone is always starving in NK. It can no longer even feed its military.

Mugabe hasn’t even called himself Marxist since the 80s, & “being run by a socialist party” doesn’t make it socialist. You think China’s still socialist? The Chavistas TRIED to turn Venezuela socialist, but as I mentioned, they only reached 20%. I feel like I’ve been over this.

So are you going to say that "true" communism and socialism has never been tried? Would you accept that argument from a Neo-Nazi? How many times have to die before true believers give up this faith?

True socialism and communism HAVE been tried many times, and pretty successfully. They just can’t be delivered by a state. True “state socialism” has also been tried, many, many times, with varying levels of success.

Agreed. Communes can and do function. Like the Amish, mennonites etc. It doesn't work at the state level for communism. As for Socialism, I think the jury is out on that one. Let's see what happens in the UK when the majority of welfare recipients are not native born citizens.

I honestly don’t think any form of government can be ethically executed on a large scale. And socialism isn’t about welfare, though I support both. It’s about workers owning the means of their own production.

That is the question! An ethical government? I think we can get a lot closer than we are. Term limits, limits on jobs politicians can hold after office. Accountability for politicians and bureaucrats etc. Can you guess I don't like bureaucrats!

I definitely think bureaucrats should be directly accountable to the people, if they must exist in the short term
