Viewing art that empowers, versus art that dehumanizes you/representations of "you", is a difference that can be felt viscerally.

Part of why I post Euro art is because most Americans have been physiologically trained to value it, but to DEvalue people of color.

Yet there are many positive representations of poc in European art history, and showing people this creates OR resolves a conflict.

Whether seeing these works creates or resolves a conflict depends entirely on the viewer and their conceptualizations of value and beauty
