Not much rotavirus around nowadays thanks to vaccines, but in my
#PedsHM experience, sometimes it’s nice having a straightforward bronchiolitic baby to get a mental break from all the zebras!

When I was two years qualified or so (in the uk that meant 25/26 years old) I realised the more senior you get, the Medicine gets easier, and it’s the admin and people management that causes difficulty. What it took longer to realise was that the medicine also gets /1

Much more rewarding. A session of direct clinical care amongst all the non-clinical chaos, when I remind myself that for the most part I know what I’m doing, can re-invigorate like nothing else.
