How much more do we have to listen to Boris Johnson’s empty boasts on climate when true picture is -past achievements exaggerated -future targets off track -continued funding for oil & gas overseas We need the truth on the . We’re not hearing it

Yes, Amnesty International guy, it's utterly incomprehensible why a sovereign nation might want to reclaim territory seized from it by foreign-backed proxy militias. What an amazingly ditzy tweet.

'widespread mockery of liberalism' threatens to take us 'towards the darkest of all political places', writes Monbiot in the leading 'liberal' newspaper that led the McCarthyite smear campaign to destroy our one hope of a more democratic politics.

Corporate media control means 'a monopoly of both opinion and information', too - look at the cross-spectrum propaganda assault on Corbyn and the near-universal silence on OPCW/Douma. Different means, similar ends.

In the course of my interview with RT about British lobby journalism I drew attention to the fact that reporters in Russia get killed, vanished etc, facing far more serious threats than British lobby corrs. I am disappointed that RT did not use those remarks in this clip.

after having done everything they could possibly think to to do to throw the election to a far-right bully, the UK media is shocked, shocked, to discover they too now have to deal with a far-right bully

A decade ago, we may have seen 1 or 2 heat-stress events killing flying-foxes a year. We've seen 6 events in the last month, in the Shoalhaven alone. Our pollies tell us to adapt to climate change. But for these animals, extinction is more likely than adaptation.

Thought I would check this and am a bit horrified. The BBC has had one story in total about the fires and Aboriginal culture. It had quite a incendiary title of Aboriginal planners say 'the bush 'needs to burn'.
