    "Lessons from history" is an overused trope, and obviously there are no easy analogies, but: German center/right parties snubbing the left in favor of the extreme right should be one place where it really really wouldn't hurt to remember how that went.

    Once again, German Conservatives decide that cooperating with right-wing extremists is an acceptable price to pay for ousting the Left.

    I've made the same mistake as the interviewed UN Special Rapporteur on and discarded as this likely guilty weirdo. While Sweden, UK and finally Ecuador broke laws to extract him to the US where he won't get a fair trial but suffer more intl outlawed torture.

    Tonight in Barcelona I've met a guy who celebrated day. His UK friends were embarrassed by him, while he spit his hatred for the EU (and his spit) into my face. OK, I feel sorry for all UK immi... sorry expats. But on the other hand I hope he doesn't get a EU visa again.

    Unpopular opinion: React is the wrong tool for building content websites (blogs, marketing sites, documentation, etc.) today. SSR is not good enough. You end up downloading the content twice: once in the HTML, and again in the JS for hydration. How did this become so common? 😱

    It was infuriating - deal flow should be based on a company’s metrics, milestones the company has reached, traction ect. not based on the color or sex of the founder. As the VC world is so small, I will refrain from saying the funds name here. But I’m really hurt like for real.

    OSS project do deserve money. But that can be asked for on their website, github, npm, etc. My fear is this is the beginning of a trend that can quickly get out of control With create-react-app currrently at 911,174 packages, I can't even afford to give a penny to each project
