    Saying that you’ll make a few surface-level changes in an oppressive system that criminalizes children is like throwing a teacup of water on a burning building. A second child died in our custody. There’s no worthy excuse.

    Horrifying. Another child has died in U.S. Custody, this time on Christmas day. We won't stop fighting for the rights of migrants abd refugees.

    BREAKING: An 8-year-old Guatemalan boy died Christmas morning in U.S. custody, according to Customs and Border Protection. They have not yet released his name. This is the second immigrant child to die in U.S. detention this month.

    . shouldn’t trust Erdogan or expect that an evil ideology like ISIS will be eradicated, but he should not be deterred from bringing U.S. forces home from an unauthorized war. If members of Congress want us to engage in war, then they should vote on it and be accountable.

    President of Turkey has very strongly informed me that he will eradicate whatever is left of ISIS in Syria....and he is a man who can do it plus, Turkey is right “next door.” Our troops are coming home!
