Can't believe I caught a bug caused by dynamically assigned IP addresses solely because "haha device address has the funny number in it" and then later this evening "...where did the funny number go?"
Yeah, polygons are cool, but imagine what we could do with enemy forces numbering in the thousands, farms with thousands of individual plants... More games need to play with the economies of scale.
After watching some Factorio vids, I've concluded we need more games that take advantage of being sprite based. It's amazing to watch alien forces flow over terrain like a liquid, crashing up against the walls of a factory that takes up acres of space.
Holy shit I just got 8 hours of sleep without waking up once. That hasn't happened to me since... I can't actually remember.
