I didn't watch the game last night, but I did watch the halftime show this AM on the elliptical. Very entertaining!

    1. A small thing in the context of a global democracy recession but, a couple days ago, announced a change to how they handle car stops. Instead of ticketing people, now they hand out vouchers to get the vehicles fixed. This is very good.

It would be great if policing agencies called out Borna’s actions. This is NOT police work and police themselves need to be clear in this. Ball State professor called police to class because student would not change seats

Sometimes researchers are just wrong. When they are they should admit it. And perhaps retract the parts of the study that are wrong. “It took us months to contest a flawed study on police bias. Here’s why that’s dangerous.”- The Washington Post

Kobe Bryant and his 13 yo daughter were killed in a crash. Bryant and his wife Vanessa have three other children. One just over 6 months old. I cannot imagine her grief. My heart goes out to you Vanessa Bryant and to your children. 🙏🏾

Have now had a chance to read this study. Yes, it is consistent with a recent PNAS study. That's not a good thing. We cannot tell which officers are more likely to shoot people *using only data on shootings*. Controlling for shooting attributes *does not fix this* (1/n)
