the Salvation Army is a virulently anti-gay institution they have thru negligence and direct action caused scores of LGBT deaths they are invited every year into public spaces their solicitors are cute, harmless, well-meaning it is all very difficult to reconcilepic.twitter.com/dV0MjqZGUQ

The ones I see in Vegas are usually elderly. Which makes walking past them in the cold even more awkward :/ I wouldn't be surprised if SA hires ringers specifically for their cute/harmless appearance. This is a business venture for them, playing on guilt is smart :p
