Any request from the ADF for personnel returning from Afghanistan to quarantine in their own bubble will be granted. The Queensland Government is already working with the ADF on this matter with steps being taken to ensure this can happen.

Scott Morrison & the LNP only contributed $180,000 to help manage our GC nat parks these past 2 years compared to our $8m.   Their one-off $4m for all SEQ post-bushfire will also run out this FY.   We’re calling on them to ⬆️ ongoing funding to protect our world-heritage areas.

Blocking the M1 is nothing but a stupid and selfish stunt from One Nation, disrupting Gold Coasters who are just trying to get to work.

Sorry, what? Australia’s Deputy PM says it’s not the gov’s job to come up with a plan to reach net zero. Wrong. It is the gov’s job as every other state and territory in the country has done 🤦‍♀️. Another example of the Morrison gov passing the buck.

Tonight’s report is clear on the impact of climate change. We know there’s more to do which is why we’ve committed $2b to drive more renewable energy to help meet our targets. Now more than ever is the time to get serious - the Morrison Government has to step up.

The science is very clear. The two greatest risks to the are climate change and water quality. We’re calling on the Morrison Government to at least match the Palaszczuk Government’s investment in renewable energy, water quality and land restoration.

Nobody wants to see the GBR removed from the World Heritage List. That’s why we’ve written to the Prime Minister to match the Palaszczuk Government’s commitments on $2 billion for renewable energy, $270 million for water quality and $500 million for land restoration. (2/4)
