As far as rap goes in the LA that's represented across the world is usually from Compton 1 because they got to it 1st

Leimert is locals only because out of towners are afraid of south central or industry leads them directly to other areas.

Compton is Locals only because it's far.

This place is in the middle of the black part of Los Angeles. It's def got a locals only surf vibe. Not in the same ways as Compton is tho.
