Things I really miss for hacker events? Family Tickets. #MCH2021 would cost us next to 900€ for 4-6 days. I know that putting infrastructure out in a field is expensive, but this isn’t even remotely family friendly.

I know - but I think that’s a more systemic problem regarding hacker conferences and camps :) Camps especially are getting more expensive year over year, because every event needs to be more spectacular than the last one.
