i find this unlikely because even the channels with the highest amount of empty subscribers (except in Luna's case) retain at least 10% of the viewers in his case around 8k to 9k views within the first 24 hours and if he keeps gaining views at the current rate of 300 per 2 hours
@TeamYouTube can you explain this, here we have a channel with over 800k subs with video that was posted over 2 hours ago with less than 1000 views which i can see as having three possible explanations.
1. his viewers have lost interest which is unlikely

he will end up with around 3600 views which doesn't add up 2. he was buried under the algorithm. i find this even less likely because (despite the fact that I've never seen one of his videos before much less subscribed and hit the bell button) he ended up in my sub feed.

3. (this is the most likely one ) there is some new experimental shit going on at YouTube where they're subbing people who enjoy similar content to people they've never seen before (I'm gonna call it ghost subbing maybe someones already noticed it but that's what I'm calling it.)

this would make the most sense because over time subs have been experimented on in weird ways like unsubbing people who were active watchers of that content creator back in 2016 and then the bell icon making it so when you subscribed you didn't actually get notified

when they uploaded, instead you had to click 2 buttons, and THEN you made the bell button only sometimes show notifications unless you went into your settings and changed it (which I'm sure 8 year-old billy can work out himself ) and now I'm noticing being subscribed to people

who I've never watched before, so I was just curious and wondering if you could clear the water on this strange case
