@mcelhearn Are you using Icons view? It doesn’t happen for me in there. In List and Columns view it’s happened on all my Macs for years. -
@mjtsai I generally use icon view, but just tried list and column; no problems. -

@mjtsai I am; I can touch type quite fast. So if I create a folder and start typing, there's little delay. -
