It is not published by academics. It has no affiliation with any academic institution. It has no discernible review or fact-checking. It does publish many hot takes on academia, but so does ratemyprofessor, which is more professionally edited — and still not an academic website.

It publishes frauds, and sometimes even touches up their work. It publishes the work of plagiarists with faked academic credentials and positions, and fails to acknowledge and address any errors when caught. It should, categorically, be avoided in any academic work.

Even its non-fraudulent articles on academic subjects are often of sub-Wikipedia quality. (See for example pieces on the French Revolution/the Vendée and on the British Empire). Its authors fail basic due diligence in researching and substantiating their claims. Avoid.
