True, but in the first exchange, *both* parties take a perspective that's both wrong and harmful: focusing on virtue instead of justice. Virtuous people often do injustice, and injustice is often done by virtuous people. Politics should care about justice, not about virtue.

How is the first interlocutor focused on either virtue or justice? They might well simply be making a factual claim.
