Hey. Are you "doomscrolling" Twitter in a way that feels compulsive or is making you unhappy? Do you kind of wish you could stop, but you somehow can't? I have a suggestion. Your city's library almost certainly has an app that lets you check out ebooks on your phone for free.

It feels good to just stop and check your phone, right? You're doing something with your hands, you're interrupting work and getting a shot of novelty. Okay, well that's the *phone*. It doesn't have to be *Twitter*. Reading two pages of an ebook would feel exactly as rewarding
