Listen: Some of the people who complain about "bernie bros" do it because they find a performative surface-level feminism a convenient cudgel against the left. And some of the people who complain about "bernie bros" are doing it because they fucking got harassed by Bernie Bros

You can probably guilt those people into voting Bernie by leaning on the importance of M4A and the awfulness of Biden. That's not enough. You want them in your movement. You want them knocking doors with you. You want them pressuring their Senators for M4A in February 2021.

If you're in the movement you need to think about this. Think about how you can reconcile with Warren supporters who (rightly OR wrongly) feel hostility from Sanders fans. No, I don't mean me, I'm fine. I mean that person a friend of yours is going to QRT mockingly tomorrow.

A thought— 1. People tell me Sanders supporters can't stop people who harass in their name. 2. However those same people *did* reply to my tweets trying to get me to stop talking about harrass-y Sanders folk, implying they believe behavior can be changed by social pressure.pic.twitter.com/UVbz1OoMHM

Like I really don't want to belabor this, but… (Note: In the screenshot in the above tweet, a Sanders fan *did* reply to the guy on the right trying to get him to cool it! It was nice.)

Yeah, I don’t get their plan. Some people act like Bernie will just win “because his policies are popular,” like some working class revolution will come up behind him because Marxist theory says so. News flash: a big part of those workers are Trump’s biggest supporters!

So in the situation Bernie isn’t winning, primary or general, what’s the plan? Attack everyone who isn’t supporting him until they do? Tell everyone else they’re awful and blinded by their privilege because they themselves are fighting for their lives via health care policy?
