The thing you learn living in DC is there is ALWAYS room to get on a train. There may not be time, and you may end up rounding bases with a stranger, but there is ALWAYS room on the train.
May we all have even a tenth of the confidence of the woman who looked at an overpacked 7 train and decided there was room for her and her iced coffee, laws of physics be damned.
