There are 80 million places in NYC that cater to kids' parties. Pottery places, sports places, pet places...some expensive, yeah, some not so much. There are lots of alternatives.
(I basically wanna give the grownups the benefit of the doubt here, trying to understand why they would need/want to take over a small space with cake and balloons on a Sunday afternoon.)

Kids/parents travel all over the city—are all the families from Greenpoint? Obviously I know you don’t know. But I can’t believe that there aren’t other reasonable options.
