Yeah, I guess I don't know where you'd go in the winter when it's too cold for a playground birthday, but a bar... would not be on my list? It seems like a way to proclaim your parental hipness?

There are 80 million places in NYC that cater to kids' parties. Pottery places, sports places, pet places...some expensive, yeah, some not so much. There are lots of alternatives.

But comparatively few, for now, in northern Greenpoint, right? (Unless I just don't pay attention to them, which is entirely possible)

Even schools rent out their gyms and other areas for parties, with teachers getting paid to run events/games for the kids.
