I was the exact right age to discover bowie via Labyrinth... and I didn’t. It just didn’t appeal (my loss). Years later, I became OBSESSED with him after stumbling onto a screening of The Hunger, of all things.
Favorite moment of today was the expressions of pure joy on the faces of the many many late-30s women at the Bowie exhibit when the Labyrinth clip came on We all have a different journey to discovering Bowie but let's be real that movie was the entry point for a whole lot of us

I was at the
@brooklynmuseum today to see@mikegarson perform & it was fun seeing all ages glammed up. As a Ziggy era fan I’ve never seen Labyrinth
but I have a date to see it with a younger relative. I’ve seen the Cary Grant movie his bit is based on. -
We were there last weekend. Shame we missed you! We’re maybe doing a whole shebang special episode about it :)
