In the Xmas Eve blizzard ‘82 in Denver I remember getting stuck 7 miles from my home and my mom paying a guy $20 to let us ride in the open back of his pickup to get home at 5am Xmas morning. And we had to walk the last two blocks in 21 inches of snow.
