So where is an everyday Iowan who primarily reads the Des Moines Register, listens to NPR, and watches the 6 and 10 evening news supposed to get their news about a teachers strike in West Virginia?

Ok fine I'll bite one more time: why does your imaginary "normal person" listen to NPR (which btw is covering the strike) AND watch multiple local tv reports, but not take 10 minutes to check out google news?

Yes. We focused on localities in our region. The strike would be front page every day with photos, videos and online packages connecting all the coverage. National news got play on SLOW local news days because people could read it everywhere.
