(And a lot of these tweets? They're coming from people *in the damn media* who haven't bothered to google, because we all like to pretend our twitter feeds are a good proxy for what the rest of the media is covering and boy howdy is that another tweetstorm altogether)

"Why isn't anyone covering West Virginia?" (When they are) is also a way of saying "why is Washington dominating the news," when they can't say that because that question itself is absurd.

Anyway if you find yourself wondering "why isn't the media covering this?" a good thing to do is get off twitter and go take a spin on a news site or google news. ("Get off twitter" is my advice in all situations, actually.)
