One thing mostly swept under the rug on millennials compared to parents is plenty of us have no interest in the excess they ended up with.

While I tend to agree the American dream got broken somewhere I don't think it's logical to assume we were going to keep those leaps going.

Had it easy growing up compared to my dad. I was fortunate. Also saw that after a certain point, more money didn't make anyone happier.
