Used to be people trained on typewriters vs. trained on computers. Now I'm not so sure, but it's a huge pet peeve!
yeah, there's a good 10 years of overlap, depending on who taught you to use a computer, too. I was born in 81, was briefly taught 2 spaces.

We should be able to adapt. (I've begrudgingly dropped the hyphen from email.) It's not like Dvorak keyboards are being forced or anything.
