Ok I've had a day to think about this and wtf is up with Statham just ~casually~ joining their crew as if he hadn't killed several of them.
Not that I object to the casual merging of The Italian Job and Fast movies into one franchise. In fact, I'd welcome Nic Cage as well.

But that's an awwwwwwfully quick turnaround from 'crazy murderer dude' to 'comic relief baby rescuer' for statham's character.
