Whereas the leggings situation -- how a narrative goes viral -- is in fact something I know a bit about, so I tweet about that.

I see that perspective and it's a smart one. That's one reason I never framed this as an either/or decision.

But my worry is no one will ever develop a perspective of "value" on foreign affairs if they don't regularly engage the subject.
