Ok hold up I have QUESTIONS about the passage of time in that movie.
Were the village and the castle frozen in time together? (No, I'm not giving you a spoiler alert those are dumb)

They had to have been for Mr. and Mrs. Potts to remain roughly the same age. But the age of the castle appears to be decades or longer.

So ok fine, entire geographic area is frozen in time together. What about the rest of the country? And world? Is it, like, 2017 out there?
