It was always random bizarre crimes with white victims. Anything else, no matter how tragic, was a blip.
i really do think we're in the beginnings of a digital-outlet era that addresses those.

That's good to hear. I still feel crime coverage is largely determined by the oddity or rareness of the crime

Which I certainly get. But the result is people still fear the outlier while ignoring the world's very real dangers.
