i'm just so wary of early early starts w/o corresponding late coverage. you end up working 14-hour days and an industry burns out

My thing is teach focus, systems so get it done quicker and have a life rather than spread out and burn out. Workaholism a killer.

100% agree. I've been at places that just let people run themselves ragged.

And let's face it. We can't be @GoodGirlsRevolt newsrooms of old. Not about smoking, goofing off, men seducing all the chicks. :-)
