that's probably a terrible anecdote, only there for grabbing attention, but the larger points in the article are VERY spot on.

it's interesting to hear from people in CS question some of the internal culture they think needs to change to be more inclusive.

i think this woman made basic assumptions in her study design that were deeply flawed.

I've heard the same results from other studies at sci conf. It's probably not any one of those things individually...
