I don't really care about running in rain, but I need my phone out to check pace constantly, and I'm guessing iPhones aren't fans of water.

I have a 10k race on Tuesday and I am stupidly nervous about it. Not run a race for a year; I have such butterflies already.

Have had so many injuries in past 12mths (fractured foot; ripped calf muscle) that I shouldn't try for best run, but I so want to beat my PB

It's sad; there're worse worries in life, but all that's on my mind right now is: can you beat your previous time? If not, YOU'VE FAILED.

Anyway, trying hard to stay positive - and just do the distance in under an hour. Wish me luck, y'all.

Giggling at myself talking about race PBs & speed intervals, when 18 months ago I was like "I can't move from the sofa; I hate running".

Just ran intervals at 8mph / 3 mins x 3 plus 3.5miles and even though I finished over 10 mins ago I still feel like puking. Is this normal?
