Honestly curious about the benefit for doing this. Does the churn help them in iTunes? More than it harms them with annoyed listeners?

While I am usually annoyed by reruns, there are some weeks I can't keep up on podcasts. For space, I don't always keep unlisteneds

I suspect there's no way to actually rerun an episode in the RSS feed without uploading it again.

right, and my question is: why bother sending a rerun at all? What benefit does it serve to anyone?
