I think it's ok, though, because no one wants to grow up eating Pennsylvania avocados, so it's good that i waited.
fun fact: i was over 30 before I ever had guacamole, and have no serious thoughts on the issue.

Same. Growing up in WI, we couldn't get avocados at the grocery store. Or even tomatoes during the winter.

in a way, i'm glad i waited to have the good stuff. sub-par avocados would have turned me away forever.
