It's residential Greenpoint, so, cars, but nothing scary. There's a school nearby. One day, I hit the intersection the same time as a car

A dad and his kid were at the opposite side. He was taking the kid to the school. The car didn't have a stop sign, but it did have a yield.

So I kept going straight, and so did the car. A second later he stopped, and I yelled, pointing at the 'yield to pedestrians sign.'

The dad taking his kid to school changed course, ran up to me and point his finger in my face. 'You were WRONG! You were WRONG!'

Dude had SUCH hatred for me contained in his face, and I've never understood why, or ever seen anything like it before.

For whatever reason, it was important to him to leave his kid in an intersection to scream at me for doing nothing that affected him

So when people are assholes on Twitter -- eggs, anyone -- I just picture that guy's face, and keep jogging.
