Sometimes I try to explain twitter’s fancies to my boyfriend and the prospect of explaining the Fireworks Discourse fills me with sighs because he’s right about this place.

Made all the more difficult because we live in the one neighborhood in America where no one is setting off fireworks, so FIRST I’d have to get him to buy into that.
