It’s taken me three (four?) months of WFH to realize my ideal setup is “Sunnydale High School.” It never rains, there are tables, the WiFi probably reaches. The hellmouth thing is fine because hi hello it’s 2020 we get it.

Every evening I spend an hour sitting in a park and listening to the birds chirp and it’s incredibly soothing and also makes me wish we had outdoor workspaces like the high school in Buffy.

A few years back I had a job that was basically seven days a week and I did do some work from a blanket in a park and yes it was fabulous but short lived because battery power. So my Buffy The Outdoor Coworking Space would have a ton of extension cords too.

Best part about Sunnyvale: The Office is that the rules (which I am just making up now) prohibit calls. Too disruptive to dog naps.

Ok well in the last 15 minutes I’ve seen a naked woman urinate and two men come almost to blows over one standing too close to another’s wife — none of these people wearing masks, btw — so I guess that’s the end of my Sunnyvale Coworking Space dream.
