I'm no country music fan. Ms. Parton's politics? I'm guessing way left of her fan base. She's at least hinted at having an 'open marriage' “Dixie Stampede” thing is not very PC But she's an American icon who'll stand the test of time 'I Will Always Love You' =s Immortalitypic.twitter.com/03MTSpxeV3

As I said, I'm not a country music fan. But the fan base has been my neck of the woods, my neighbors and my family forever, er, almost. So, some verbal and some osmosis, I guess.

I do, of course, have to concede your point, in no way do I speak for Dolly Parton's fanbase.
