What a great recollection between titans. I lived all of the AIDS crisis either 1/2 a mile of the Castro or a 20 min subway ride from the Village. My wife and I had our first apartment above a drag piano bar. It’s a lovely and appropriate quote I’m glad to hear today. TY.
