For me (and with the caveat that I know I am lucky to even be able to have an opinion on this): i don't miss commuting. I can concentrate. I'm also aware that I'm unable to accomplish a lot of the things I want to do because I can't see and talk to people in person. Did you hear this morning’s report on NPR? US Social Security Admin is reporting their staff is more productive at home, piece ends w/statement saying folks who used to clock out at 5p, they look up around 7p and realize, hey I’m still working. How is this good for America?

I saw that! and that is definitely how my first month went. i just sat on my couch and worked all the time. But now it's just so essential for my own sanity to, if i can't focus on anything else, at least focus on going for a walk at 5:30 and not getting back online after.

I'm not sure if I feel I'm working more efficiently at home or if it's just a byproduct of less chit-chat and office-related distractions ... spending extra time with my kids has been the best part
