I don’t get people going to cemeteries for any reason other than to visit a loved one (who they actually knew). Cemeteries are beautiful places to walk and Victorian cemeteries in particular were designed to be that way. If I'm ever travelling somewhere that's inhospitable to pedestrians, I can always count on the local cemetery as a safe place to stroll.

Sounds like a lot of people agree with you guys, but I would much rather walk in a park without graves (but like you said, in NYC there aren’t enough of those). It seems creepy and disrespectful to me, but plenty of people don’t agree.
