One woman said she welcomed the plan to open more city streets because it's getting really hard to be cooped up in an NYC apartment with small children. Another woman told her to open a window and be glad she's alive.

I torture myself by reading the Instagram comments under my local community blog's posts. I think I've identified the one place on the internet with the smallest amount of compassion, which is honestly a remarkable feat.

This just gave me a flashback to when I lived in Brooklyn Heights, and the community blog comments were… yikes. Very, extremely yikes.

I left the community FB group for this very reason, and I think these HAVE to be the same people who have migrated over to instagram.
