I’m scared to RT this because of the bile already directed at me on here (she who runs alone, early, and rarely sees another soul)
i'd been very carefully not tweeting it for a few days, but the city paper article FINALLY nailed what i'd been hoping someone would nail for a while now.

I know you're basically talking to each other here, but another long-time, early-morning, run-alone runner waiting for exactly this take: I'm trying to follow the rules, and I believe many others--inc. the walker with two dogs stretched over the path--are trying to, too.

That's my overarching thought actually! that everyone is trying their best! (or i like to think they are.) But runners have come in for a singular amount of hate, despite, like everyone else, trying their best.
