It would be nice to think that when all this is over, some semblance of reason and moderate expectations would return, that the value of shopping local would be more apparent, but the human race doesn't have a great track record on this.
The idea that Amazon should be exceptional now (or was even before this) is so baffling! It’s a company! Like any other! That sells some stuff I might want, and lots of stuff I can get cheaper and faster elsewhere.
